Common questions

How do I get a refund?

We offer a full 30-day money-back guarantee. Email hello@retainerbase.ai with the subject line 'Refund Request' and we'll process it within 5 business days — no questions asked.

Can I change my billing email?

Yes. Go to Settings inside the app and update your email there. Changes take effect immediately.

My Stripe Connect isn't working.

Go to Settings → Billing and click 'Connect Stripe'. Make sure you complete the Stripe onboarding flow fully — including identity verification.

A client isn't receiving their portal link.

Check the client's spam/junk folder first. If not there, make sure the email was entered correctly. You can also copy the portal link directly from the client's page in your dashboard.

Can I close my account?

You can close your account from Settings → Account. Since this is a lifetime purchase, there's no subscription to cancel. Your data will be deleted within 30 days of your request.

Is my payment data secure?

Yes. We never store card numbers or payment info. All transactions are processed by Stripe and go directly into your Stripe account via Stripe Connect.
